    Default Cheap Mixing Tool

Well, I wanted a Sparky the moment I saw one and the comments on the forum make me want one even more. However, even with a Screwfix 10% discount at the moment, its still more money that I can afford to spend - as I've already spent LOADS on tools this week.
But - last night, my trusty paddle (I think it was a Stanley) on my Metabo drill fell apart. So I needed something quickly. A trip to my local tool shop got me a KWB paddle, that is designed for Plaster/Tile Adhesive. I've never thought about the different shapes in Paddle much, the cheap one's tend to have flat blades - but the pro mixers seem to have rounded blades. The one I got - is rounded, just like the pro mixers (they also had a KWB model with flat blades - described as for paint mixing).
So far its fantastic. For one thing, the adhesive doesn't seem to stick to it as much. That may be just the new paint job. But its clearly designed for thicker liquids. So its a good find and a good compromise, before I can get a Sparky,
    Paddle was £12
