Default DIy wet overhead tile cutter advice please

I have 150 sq.mtrs of floor and wall tiles to put in my new self build and am looking for an electric radial tile saw that is big enough to cut 600mm tiles. The only one I've found at a sensible price is a Vitrex 103450 @ £200 delivered. Delivery is important as I live as far north as you can get ! (highlands)
Would appreciate any suggestions
cheers

I gues that means no.

Did a search on vitrex and there is pretty neg feedback on them. Mainly due to the bore size on the blade being 16mm which makes it imposible to buy a decent blade for it.

Can't understand why so many radial cutters cut to a max of 580mm when 600mm tiles are pretty standard these days.

Hi Ruther, big tiles usually mean expensive tools to cut them with. If you are after a radial cutter, you might want to consider buying something like a Ruby Dw200n. They are expensive but you would have no problem selling it again once you have finished with it. I am sure it would be more cost effective than buying something cheap and it possibly not doing the job! (I use a DW250n by the way so I know they are good). I assume it is natural stone of some sort you are laying as you require them to be wet cut?

Depending on how long you anticipate having the cutter in use i would advise either hiring one or buying a second hand one (rubi dw200) from the likes of Ebay and then selling it on once the job has been finished.

I'll try those ideas. thanks.
It's 55sq mtrs of 600mm x 300 black brazilian slate I need to lay, plus 60 sq. mtrs of standard wall and floor tiles 600 x 300 and 400 x 400 for bathrooms and a few sq. mtrs of red marble for the kitchen walls 50mm x 50mm. So quite a mixture.

Great site by the way and top guys giving advice

Buy a rubi dw200n or dw250n...just that job alone the cutter will pay for itself no probs.....

i never used to have one and i ahd a job 2 yrs back and i needed to use one ( 90mtrs black slate ) so i bought the rubi dw250n and it was a life saver and then one job , the cutter paid for it self easy in the labour time saved using my table saw....and i have used it many times since.....

Then if you don't need it again it will sell no probs......

i have a vitrex wet cutter and have no problems with it. if you take out the blade and turn round the washer it can take 22.2 blades. thats what i do.
