Tool best prices
Is their any way Dan , you could set it up so their's a list of popular branded tools and the best online or off line prices, maybe a sub forum.
Im just setting up and find this forum useful for deciding which brand of tools are well liked but then spend hours looking through loads of online stores looking for the best prices.
Thanks Andy

Re: Tool best prices
You wont get much better prices than from www.Buybrandtools.com for all your tiling needs plus great service.

Re: Tool best prices
Yes I agree with you there infact I ordered a Rubi Wet Cutter from Buybrandtools.com a couple of days ago, but like now im looking for a Karl Dahm wash boy and i don't think they list them. Cheapest i've seen them for is £62.00 but somebody else may have got one recently for a few £££ less.
Also like CTD have great offers on sometimes which we on the forum get to know about, but if some firm isnt sponsering the forum we don't know what offers they have on.

Re: Tool best prices
Decided to bite the bullet and go for a Rubi DW200N. Spent hours searching on the net but it seems that everyone sells them at approx. the same price - Between £629 and £641 inclusive of VAT.
Is there a company out there somewhere that is bucking the trend and selling them discounted, or does Rubi stipulate the retail price?

Of the four companies I found on line Buybrandtools was actually the dearest ( is one allowed to say that?)

Re: Tool best prices
I got my DW200 from Topps............they had it on there website at £529.99 a few weeks ago............then with a week it went up to £549.99. I went to my local store and said to the manager if I can get it at the £530 price I'll order right now.............so he did.
Just had another look at there website now, and its gone right up to £629.99.
I really think they cocked up the price on there site

Re: Tool best prices
I use Buybrand mainly cause of the service, not the price (many cheaper on the net, really good service though.
As for cutters though i have bought all my Rubi ones from TilesUK store in Manchester. Expensive as hell store but the Rubi cutters are a dam nice price, cheaper than the Buybrand exc VAT price.
Got stores in Manchester Leeds and Birmingham.

I think you will find the cut limit for that machine to be around 43cm length.
