If so would you recommend it?
What are the plus points and the negatives that you have found using them?
I was looking at one today in CTD and I'm tempted to get it tomorrow.

If you are going to get a TS range cutter then buy the ts+ instead....much better than the lder TS ones.....
What's the difference between the TS & TS+ Dave?
The one thing that put me off a bit and is reason I asked on here before I bought it was the fixed breaking point, are the newer models the same?

The newer ts+ has a better breaking mechanism...by this i mean the jaws(breaker point) don't travel down as far and give a quicker and more powerful break....compared to the older model....thats 750kg break rather than 400kg break..
They are fine for ceramics / through bodied porcelain ...but can struggle on the harder porcelanato tiles...thats where the TX range takes over....or if you still want a slightly smaller one ..maybe 400cm etc then you can get the TR range..still with the movable breaker like the TX range.....
Cheers Dave, I'll keep that money in my pocket for a bit longer then!
defo get the tx range just had a nightmare with my new ts60 on porcelaine get one with the moveable breaker
The money didn't stay in my pocket for long afterall as my new TX-700 arrives tomorrow.
Thanks for the recommendation chaps.
I also bought a Plasplugs PLADWW150 contractor plus tiamond tile cutter, I just need to buy some earplugs now. It'll do the job for now for 50 quid.
My Rubi TX-700 has just tuned up and she's a beast!
It's actually bigger than what I expected, should be fun carrying that around to jobs.![]()
I've got a rubi ts plus 50 and get on really well with it, Great for ceramics....
SPEED MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT QUALITY....

The ts50+ and the TX700n are a great combo......let us know what you think of the TX once you try it....
I used my TX700 for the first time on a job today and loved, if it wasn't for the Mrs cooking my tea I'd still be on the job using it now, thanks for the recommendation fella's.
My only concern is the weight of it but I'm sure it'll be alright when I've got arms like Popeye after carting it around for a while!
The new Ti series looks the business, it was displayed at the tile show, cuts sweet.
