Yes, I saw that on the italian website. Seems to have some sort of mechanism inside which maybe increases the pressure by mechanical advantage.

Interesting though that the more expensive range are not dissimilar to the Sigma pull cutters.

I have two machines in this range and they seem to do the job .however the gauge is a bit naff it comes loose and is not as easy to set up as the rubi. when cutting 600x600 polished tiles it still tails of cuts when trying to remove 20mm cuts. you have to first cut a 150mm then cut the 20mm of that as the weight of the 600mm just breaks the cuts in the wrong place. I want to try a brevetti montolit but havent got round to it. is it true you can cut terracotta on these machines? in my experience all machines have good points and crap designs built in them.

No it doesnt , thats the only downside to it but it does have a central bar running in between the cutting beds so it is very easy to line your tile up on this

That's where the Tx range have an advantage then...clear line of sight and great for harder tiles.....when cutting tiles for paterns etc ..you need to cut accurately...that is the advantage rubi cutters have over these type of cutters..

I have the TX700n and it breaks anything i put in it...apart from a new highy glazed porcelenato CTD have brought out....and no amount of breaking power etc will crack these babies.....its just down to the design of the tile i guess.....

There is a knack to it , we did an apartment in Maida Vale London about 2 months back 600x600 polished porcelain and it was lovely to cut.

As you say every cutter has pros and cons on a whole though this is a fantastic bit of kit in my opinion .

My Favourite cutter is still my little TS 20 though lovely for kitchen splash backs.

Im not saying that a TX cutter cant cope with the tiles , but how much force you have to apply on the cutter to cause the tile to break. With the super pro one little tap and its done
