I've got a rubi nd200 wet cutter I,ve got no complaints. I like the fact that the blade guard can be removed and drop cuts can be achieved.

Nice if you can afford it and need it. I have a Rubi TS50+ and a Plasplugs Mastertiler as i only do small domestic work. I have bought a macrist blade for it though.

I'v got a rubi tr600s dry cutter a dw200n bridge saw, and at the mo a little briccolina, which really served me well, but is ready for retirment. should like a nd 200 but a bit expensive at the moment , so i'm looking at a norton clipper t200, got a movable table which gives a good mitre. I'v heard the plasplug is'nt much good at mitres, though i'v not tried one.

i have always used rubi ,started out with a ts 30 then got a ts 40 then got a ts60 then got a ts40 plus then got a ts60 plus then bought a tx1200n {not a great cutter} got a nuova super pro 750 for large format porcelain which is the best slide cutter i have ever used,i used to work with a lad who had the sigma cutters these were good cutters
wet cutters i have a rubi d300 which has a sliding tray and a lay over head which is the dogs b.....ks for mitreing and a stayer 1500mm bridge saw which is a good lagre format wet saw but a bit big for every day use i also have a small box wet cutter which was £60 but is good for every day use .
grinders i use makita 110v 115mm , i have just bought the new cordless makita 18v lithium ion 115mm ,i have a vairable speed grinder/polisher and a bosch 9" grinder

What about for a new tiler on a budget? (isn't everyone) Need to invest in a wet cutter, just for domestic work and that dosen't cost the earth. Clearly I wan't to get something that works and will last but i've got to ballance the two.

Hence the dilema....

I'm looking for a new wet saw myself, and thinking of getting a norton clipper tt 200 em at £115, they also do a 180 version at about £80, not too pricey. i'd also like to know if anyone as any thoughts on these, as they do look pretty good. I saw them on transtools web site
