Do RUBI do a pack of these wheels? I would like to get all three and see which is best for the various tiles I end up using.

    Hello All,
Bought a Ti 75s Spent a while playing with it and am 'WELL' impressed!!
Cuts small ceramics well, and I can see how you may crush tile when breaking. Wouldn't take much practice to get used to. It cuts 6x6 12mm perfect ! even down to 15mm slice, really clean cuts.
I've a couple of large tile floors coming up, I can see this will be a pleasure to use.
Cut about 24 tiles up, various formats, cant see any problem.
Cant see cutter well, but measurements are clear and acurate.
20mm wheel is excellent on thicker tile.WELL pleased!

    GOOD LUCK
    johnnyp

The ti-66s is a decent cutter. only 2 things i found when using it are that it can (and does!!) crumble ceramic tiles.
The other thing is the scoring wheel, it isnt adjustable so it cant be moved up or down for some reason which i found a little strange.
As also mentioned it does have a single bar which is annoying but i got used to it within a few cuts.
overall its pretty decent for the price and it does the job
    Patrick

    year 2009 april
and now we know there will not be any case. For multy-trade person with lots of tools and staff in car it is a must. How shall we keep it safe? protect it from damaging from falling or other thing hiting it during transport?
I dont know if to buy this TI or TX.
I think I will buy TI as it is cheaper and do the job (judged by reviews here/not persona experience).
Have worked with TX and it was fine but BIG!

DAVE what would you recomend more? Is there one cutter for all kinds of tiles?
porcelain tiles are hard to break and this seems strong but will i BE ABLE TO CONTROL the
I have never used single bar cutters but it dont seem to me like a problem from looking at it here.
    Please help.

The TI cuts porcelain NO PROBS....you just have to not tap the handle so hard when cutting ceramics as it can crush....it's all in the technique and one that peeps who use single rail cutters are already used to..

Need power for porcelain but also need something for soft ceramic tiles not to get crushed every time.Would I be able to keep this under contro with TI.

    wao that was fast!
I did not even noticed it was already submited I thought it just got lost so sorry about repeating the post.
So you recon I should go for TI.
I wanted to hear from somebody who have used it for a longer time now if they are still happy with everything.
When you see quick release features on deferent products it is not always best thing.

I personally couldn't get used to not seeing the scoring wheel ...so i have the TX700n.....as it uses the pole wheel like the other rubi cutters...

I suppose I could -didnt think about that- and put some padding inside so it dont rattle. MDF might be better. hinges + handle + 2 lockc.
But Than I question the weight. and putting all the effort in + cost. We probably end up better off buying TX700.

    Thanx for advice to everyone.
