Default Nvq level 2 help!!!

GOODMORNING ALL!

CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY INFO ON THE BEST NVQ LEVEL 2 COURSE TO DO?

AS I UNDERSTAND THE THE GOVERNMENT ARE BRINGING IN NEW LEGISLATION THAT SAYS ALL TILERS MUST HAVE THIS TO CONTINUE WORKING AFTER 2010.

CAN ANYONE ALSO TELL ME IF THIS APPLYS TO COMMERCIAL WORK ONLY AND/OR DOMESTIC?

I read the "why do i need an nvq by 2010" thread last night and in their Dan has a post that say domestic won't need 1 only site.

If i remember right the conversation Dan had was with an NVQ assessor.

I may have that wrong it was late last night i read it but it defo said only site work.

Have a read at the thread Mr Tiler a lot of info in it and difference of opinions

I can imagine my site foreman ringing me up to tell me he has shifted another house and book me for my next free week.
'Nope sorry I cant come I havnt my NVQ level 2'.........Seems a bit daft, but if thats whats going to happen, then some new kid can tile the site!

Hi Derry

You are quite right, at the moment it only applies to site work and not the domestic market. Although we are getting a lot more enquiries about NVQ's from individuals and sub-contractors who are doing council / housing association refurbs.

Phil
