I have just done a week long course in tiling,( great course YTA ) and still being unemployed i visited my local job centre today, they are sure that they can get me on an adult apprentership through the learning skills council and train to gain, this will be with an employer and day release to collage to gain NVQ level 2 or 3. Will let you know more when i get the info on friday | ||||||||||

Thats great news if that works out for you. What you will find is that you will be placed on an Intermediate Costruction Award (ICA) at level 2. Then you will progress onto your NVQ2. LSC & Train to Gain will only fund up to level 2, and thats providing you have no other NVQ's. If your interested in doig this quicker (26 weeks), we can possibly get you funding to do the training and NVQ here with us - courtesy of Cannock Chase Technical College. Give us a call here at the centre.  | ||
