    Default Glass modular tiles?

    Hi all,
    i have big job starting next week or so and i was told on friday that one wall in each of 23 bathrooms i have on has to be featured with glass modular sized tiles !!! pattern being supplied at time.
    Have any of you ever fitted,seen or even heard of such a tile?

    I would find out more from customer, some of these glass tiles need special adhesive and are a nightmare to fix.

    Modular ( being sqaure) glass tiles.

    Only thing i will say is check with the advice slip that usually comes with them as to the type of adhesive recommended to fix with.....some types need a different fixing method...

    fired colour bonded type are best fixed with a single part flexi c2 type adhesive and you need to make sure they are solid bed fixed to avoid trowel ribs showing through......
    And then you can get the painted surface type which are best fixed with epoxy type adhesives or silicone mirror adhesive...apply both types of adhesive to the back of the tiles and not the substrate....and then pressed into place.....

    but always check the suppliers fixing methods.....

    Thanks guys,its a hotel job,met the owner on friday,he is setting up a meeting for me with the interior designer and the tile supplier agent ! i'll pick his and her brains well in that meeting,by modular i mean different sizes,ie possibly 3,4,5 sizes etc,
