| Re: CornerTape - Picture of a finish from using CT | | Grout haze on the tiles will cause problems with adhesion and some high gloss tiles/surfaces can at times be difficult to adhere to especially if not dried properly.
Wd40 has been used for grout haze removal by some for years. Try grout haze remover or a bit of phosphoric acid depending on the acid sensitivity of the tile of course. | | |

| Re: CornerTape - Picture of a finish from using CT | | Hi guys,
Here's some more pic's, these are very impressive. I was wrong yesterday about the 1st pic being 4mm cornertape, it was 6mm CT and this pic is also 6mm.
The job was done by chris.tiling , a forum member.
Best regards

Many thx for your comments, if people will just give CT a try just once (don't use WD40 though ), that would be enough to convince them, such is life, hayho.
Best regards and i'm sure I'll see you around,

| Re: CornerTape - Picture of a finish from using CT | | Some more pics of the results from using cornertape (sorry about the low res). These were not done by 'chris.tiling', but they show the 8mm CT.
Only the worktop was done not the vertical corners and the gap was huge which is why the 8mm was used, they put the knife in front of the joint for scale.
The tiles had been previously painted using proper tile paint.
The silicone was cheap own brand from a 'shed', but the finish was spot on.
Comments please
Best regards
