Come and see us at the 'tile and stone show' in june and we'll see what we can do. I'll be demonstrating the new 2.5mm CT but if you're no good at putting your tiles on straight it will show how crap you are, hehe.

Best regards
Andy

Used CT for a bit of practice in my garage onto plasterboard wall and i was realy impressed. Used it today on tiles and it was difficult to get it to stick to the tiles, then when i tried to peel the clear plastic off it kept pulling the silver foil strip with it, i also found it awkward to apply in tight areas so now not so sure.......sorry mate!

I'm really surprised that you got on better applying it onto plasterboard to be honest all i can say is that the problem that you experienced is normally down to the fact that the surface was not totally clean or dry or that you have a faulty roll.

The surface may look clean but the only way to be sure is to use an ethanol based cleaing wipe, we will be adding this to the range of products. Again, regardless of using CT or not we would always recommend using that type of wipe before applying any silicone as it gives the joint the best chance of lasting over time.

Best regards
Andy

Hi Andy, i had cleaned up the surface of the tiles prior to it with WD40 on a cloth so maybe that had something to do with it?? I`m probably doing something wrong anyway so if you ever end up doing a demo in Maidstone area and i`m about i`d like to see it

Cheers
