| turning on UFH after tiling | | starting to tile my sisters house tomorrow mornin, they have under floor heating throughout, was just wondering what the story was for turning it back on after its tiled, do ya turn it on gradually? or put it up full rip?, leave it a week?,does it depend on the addy? or the type of UFH? cheers. | | |

| Re: turning on UFH after tiling | | from past experiences with other materials(mainly plastering) the last think you need is for something to dry too rapdily, everything has guidlines as far as settings go and if its too cold/too hot then they can dramatically change matters (strength being the main one) start off by readint the tile adhesive packaging for any kind of recommendations, personally i wouldnt take the risk, but.... im new to all this tile mallarky and maybe different priducdts are ok to use after being newly laid? ... either way id allways go with heating it up slowly method but or how long is beyonf me?... too soon tho is deffinately a no go i my eyes | | |
