Default Is the ' credit crunch ' affecting your business

Just wanted to know if anyone is noticing or suffering from a downturn in business due to the ' credit crunch '.

I have plenty of work on at the moment and can only see it getting better as people are staying in their current house and refurbishing them.

Let me know how you are all getting along.

Think you hit the nail on the head.
People seem resigned to be stuck in their homes for now so are more keen to tart their places up.

Im ticking along fine as well, around 4 weeks work infront but it is slowing up.
As most of the sites over here have closed down i have tilers coming off sites desperate for work and ive noticed jobs I was sure I would get falling through.
I priced 2 private bathrooms at £850, floors and half walls in both about 50m2 in total. Priced it keen as it was local and friend of a friend etc. Just found out I lost it by more than £200 quid.
I thought I was keen but 600 odd for 2 bathrooms, bound to be a mess!!
