Default Slate Tiles

Does anyone have experience of tiling a hallway with slate tiles. My wetsaw is not the biggest for cutting them.

Also what's the best way for sealing slate. I have been told to use linseed oil?

hello mate.......do not use linseed oil on slate..it is not porous enough to absorb it.
After getting it clean and dry.. i use lithofin slate seal.....2 coats...1 before grouting and 1 after.........

Most wetsaws will cut standard size slate no probs....which on do you have..?

I have used impregnators on slate but now tend to finish it with wax. needs stripping once every twelve months but it gives a cracking finish.
