Default Forgotten tools

We went to a job today 6 sq meters 10 x10’s kitchen splash back unloaded the van and we had no wet cutter with it being 19 miles each way to go get it we decided to become best mates with the nippers, luckily there was only 4 plug sockets to cut round.. have you ever forgotten any thing?

Nothing is imposable it just costs more

I once discovered that I'd left my tile cutter at home, after traveling 1.5h to a job

Didn't want to go back as the job was only a small splashback, so I had to do all cuts with an angle grinder

Congrats on the 500th post.

Regarding missplacing ones brain... I seem to missplace my brain every morning between 6 and 9 (coffe break), and every afternoon between 3 and 4. If I work beyond 4, I almost always recover my brain...

I wonder where it hides during those 4 hours though, hehe. Usually try to not do anything complicated then, like prepping substrates, grouting, siliconing or something else which doesn't require me to think If I make misstakes, it's always at those times.

My transport is my Car. So i am use to taking all the tools off regularly and put them in the garage.
I was tiling my mates kitchen floor on a Saturday morning and yeah you guessed....forgot the lot !!!
When i arrived at his house (20 miles away) all i could was set out with a tape and pencil.
Returned the following day and sorted it (with tools)

Odds and sods really.

Levels, spacers, silicone.... though I once forgot the tile cutter when I got the the customers house, drove home, opened the shed to get the cutter out, and it wasn't there anywhere, looked in the boot of the car again and there it was all the time, so back to the job

I've done the worst, turned up at customers house 20 miles away, they left for the day said they'd be back at 3.they didn't leave a mobile number or a door key.
I forgot the ADHESIVE all of it.Waited for 6 hours before they turned up nothing on the walls but all the tiles cut in a neat pile for the next day.

What a dope

Lately I seem to be loosing tools rather than forgetting them! Adjustable spanners and drill bits disappear with alarming regularity. Think they must all be tiled behind bath panels. Although I did find someone elses adjustable spanner under a bath I ripped out the other week. Win some lose some
