Default Victorian mosaic floor

Tiling a bathroom today for a guy who has just moved from London to the country, and he asked if i could do a victorian mosaic floor in his hallway and downstairs bathroom as he had one in his London house. Of course i can i said, never done one before but what a fantastic chance to lay one of these. So any idea where i can get any info on suppliers as he dosent know what pattern he wants so he wants some ideas.

Smile Re: Victorian mosaic floor

I have dealt with Original Tile company. There delivery can be slow and they don't like answering the phone, however the quality is there and they do provide an estimating service. The main thing with laying these tiles is to set it out correctly and don't rush things. The last one that I did was an area of 6 sq mtrs and involved close on 1800 individual tiles. A nightmare calculating the amount, I drew it out to scale, but the end result gives you a great sense of achievement and a good portfolio.

Hello enduro, congrats for this job. A.m. link from protiler seems to show the victorian style tiles that are also available here in Germany and on a german tile dealer webpage. I found in UK this:
