Smile re- fitting toilet after tiling underneath?

Do I need to call a plumber or is there a simple solution. Have tiled underneath the toilet so now the toilet sits 5mm or so higher than previously. The waste pipe is fine but the inlet metal pipe to the cistern cannot reach. Any tips?
thanks.

Nope no need for plumber. Try something like this
http://www.screwfix.com/prods/13964/...CFFI?ts=12393#

Easy to fit and isolater built in.

Probably best to nip along to a local plumbers merchant and explain what you need.

you need to buy a flexi pipe to fit to the old pipe and the toilet these are 300mm so you need to cut the old pipe down as well

http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Plum...ors/d20/sd2807

cheaper than screwfix

Nothing is imposable it just costs more

If you use a push fit, make sure the old pipework is clean and smooth, ie remove old paint etc and clean with wire wool to get a good seal, and dont get any nasty kinks in the flexi, smooth bends are ok but not kinks which make the tubing "collapse".
