Default Outside slate

Hi there,
A quick question but first I'd just like to add my thanks and best wishes to Gaz. He has answered a fair few of my questions, always promptly and accurately. Good Luck to you in your new venture.
Now then, an outside job, sticking 30x30 slates on top of a flat, sound concrete sub. What would you guys recommend in terms of adhesive and grout.
Thanks in advance
Jim

Default Re: Outside slate

I did a slate job in a front garden a couple of months ago.

I used Bal rapid flexi maily and t was fine. It can widthstand the cold when its set etc.

I also used Bal ptb on DH's advice and it was also fine.

Only thing you have to watch is the temperature when yor laying as the addy can only be used above 5 degrees, but wiv the weather getting better you should have no probs.

Grout i used Bal superflex and stuck a little admix in wiv each mix.
