Default What's the nicest tile you've fitted?

What's the nicest tile you've fitted? I mean in the quality of the tile, guaranteed minimal complications (with no tile bow, no defects and hardly any size difference/tolerance etc etc), nice size, nice weight to hold a pile maybe, silicone was easy on the surface etc etc etc......

Mines probably porcelain. Other than some of the cutting I'd say most fully vitrified tiles have a really good quality too them just due to the density of the tile. Grouting is always a pleasure. Plus it works really well with underfloor heating

There is a tile available from tile it all which if i remember correctly is called 'rover black metallic' . Black tile with a kind of shiny silver fleck through it, has to be wet cut, dry cutter wont even look at it. This was one of my fave tiles because they are all exactly the same in dimension and just look and feel great. When you switch on the lights the floor sparkles as you look around. Downside, they are 9 quid each

That sounds like the sort of thing my other half would love. Got any pics of that job mate? Can't find any pics of that tile online from just searching for 5 mins.

Wow, they are really nice tiles. What was the body of them made from?

one of my first job was fitting these tiles in an Indian restaurant. Tiles were great but the floor was diabolical. learnt a lot on that job. Plus side was a friend was having the same tiles for her kitchen so she saved a fortune on the 'offcuts!!' I salvaged.
