Default pushfit flexi too long

hi all looking at taking out the toilet pottery in a customers toilet to tile behind to make it look neater.I am going to fit flexi hose with isolator valve to reason for this a little later she will be having her floor done as well.now the problem i have is that the flexihoses that are on the market from screwfix are all 300mm minimum in length.from the available 15mm pipework that is alredy there there will be a lot of excess floating in the air.is there a remedy for this or can you indeed get shorter ones.Is it good to fix the same flexihoses for the taps.or do you guys start to solder your pipe work up(a bit out of my league) cheers

you can get 200mm flexi pipes if you can find some one that stocks them but i just use 300mm for both taps and toilets if its too long then push some of it behind the toilet out of site out of mind

Nothing is imposable it just costs more

Try a plumbers merchant for the smaller ones - cheaper too.

Also, while they will flex and bend to make up for being too long, be careful not to kink them or twist too much. The inside tubing can split and cause you grief!

(having said that, the one on my loo is looped back on itself - not my doing - and it has been ok for 2 years,)

I hear; I forget
I see; I remember
I do; and I understand.

When I did my plumbing course the tutor told us that this was the correct way to install flexi connectors (looped back on itself) so sounds like whoever did yours did it right although I have seen plenty that are just straight .... sounds like a good solution to a too long flexi to me anyhow.
