| ardex products | | can you use ardex slc on wooden floors,or is it jst for concrete floors,if its the latter what do you use for leveling wooden floors? | | |

| Re: ardex products | | Never used ardex, Yes you can use slc on wood floor's you want the two part, if it's floor board's just make sure there isnt gaps between the joint's, Run a bead of grip fill in the gap so the slc dos'nt disappear down the jount's. | | |

| Re: ardex products | | I have been using the low ammonia latex SLC from Ardex alot recently. Its expensive but real good finish with the spiked roller. Used successfully on chipboard, ply and screed.

| Re: ardex products | | Having not used slc before,im jst finding it hard to get into my head that 3-6mm of slc will stick no problem to wood without crumbling,i take it,it is the latex that makes it stick to the wood? | | |

| Re: ardex products | | I honestly dont know the chemistry or physics of it but if Ardex say it will, then it will and does. You use adhesive with no reservations, Why? Its just what you are used to.
I take it there is little or no movement in the ply? It will edventually crumble, like adhesive, if there is. |
