Well done Dave,

Really nice work!
Did the owners ask... "...how much do you charge per meter?" before you even went to see the job?
----
What did you use to stick the ends of the cable down?
Couple of occasions, I have had problems with some sections of matting lifting (floating), when the levelling compound is applied.

The small bits of tape are from a warm up loose cable system....basicly just small strips of gaffa tape........this stops as you say the cable from floating when you level it............

Do you thing that gaffa tape is the same as the warmup one or are they just sharing the colour?

My concern would be with the type of glue that they use. Could for example a chemical reaction to high temperatures result in acid being formed?

I,m just a tiler mate...not a scientist.... ..is there some sort of reaction we need to know about here........?...

As far as i know there is no problems with UFH and gaffa tapes.......some UFH companies in fact advise you to use it........

...I don't know Dave...!? I am also a tiler.....

Sometimes I think too much about prevention.

In theory many things are possible with chemistry... ...did I spell it right...?

May this be an invitation to the big boys who make the stuff?.... .....NAAAHHH!!!!

True, Sir Ramic, haven´t seen this style for a long time - or the floors are covered by a big carpet, lol.
