My clients arenīt scared about fixing natural stone, they are scared about what comes after, e.g. the plumbers, electricians, painters etc. Sometimes those workers make scratches or leave colour spots or gypsum plaster dust on the fresh grouting and the like and then, after everything is ready, they (YOU) have to explain to the customer, why the choosen granite/marble has now scratches/colour spots etc. etc. Thatīs what they are scared of. Hope this will never happen to you and you will stay lucky with fixing natural sones. Martin

Unlucky mate .Have been using very hard(Were talking Mike Tyson hard)12mm porcelain tiles last week, all had to go through wet cutter which was 2 floors down and all the way round the back garden via the front door.

When I say hard Brian I mean hard, one of the tiles came at me with a knife

We are now supplying a lot of diamond cutters to people working with natural stone.

Natural stone by design is not a uniform material to work with so can be unpredictable to cut.

Only diamond is capable of cutting with predictable results because the diamonds are used to grind away at the surface rather than "drill" it.

That means consistent and reliable holes into an unpredictable material. Which translates to less breakage and very neat results.
