Angry help cant get trim right.

ok i'm stuck doing my first job for my mum in law mainly as practice just up to window on 3 walls with 2 sockets as obsticals. but stuck on a 3 way miter with the trim on an external corner. and i've got the trim cutter tool from darren nett but i cant figure them out.

I know its 6 mm away from a internal corner to make tiles fit with 2mm gap but
how much on external corner to make it fit with trim. i cant explain it very well please help i just cant remember

I have my own way of doing this mate but i dunno how to explain it.

Right... i do the up trim first the one that dont need mitre. Then i cut my trims on top to that.

Andy

You just turn the trim round and it will cut the reverse mitre. Try it, just put a piece of trim in the cutter, with the back edge of the trim against the guide and cut. Now turn the trim around so the front edge of the trim is against the guide and it cuts the mitre the opposite way

I bought a mitre box as well, belt and braces job, but I find those cutters quick and easy to use. If I am as clear as mud then call me lol
