Default coloured silicone

If your doing a kitchen splashback with a natural stone coloured tile and mapei - jasmine grout - which is a beigy/limestone sort of colour - would you always try and match that colour with a silicone that matches that colour or do you use standard white?

Just done a shower and the customer wanted chocolate grout. After some deliberation they decided that chocolate silicon would look better than white, so off to my Mapei stockist I went.

I like Mapei grout and silicon, but always avoid the (so called) white grout as it seems more like off-white.
