| Re: Tiling in to a corner with pic's | | I cant see that it matters which way as i trust you will be running a bead of silicone down each internal corner so you wont know the difference. | | |

| Re: Tiling in to a corner with pic's | | You should try to leave an expansion gap to silicone into so of the two the second IMO would be better as that will leave a good space for expansion. The first one may be too tight and if there is any movement it may damage the tiles. | | |

| Re: Tiling in to a corner with pic's | | Are the walls dead plumb so as to allow you to finish with full tiles at both corners??
I would always end up with cut tiles at corners, whether its half a tile, 3/4 of a tile etc. As long as its not a sliver like.
That way you cut the first one 4 mil short of the wall, then the second ones meet these tiles and with the thickness of the tile and the addyt they should overlap the cuts, again though leave a small gap of around 2mil etc, then you will have a nice line and a good void behind for the silicone to fill.
best way IMO and the way I always do it. Never leave a full tile at the corners in case the walls are shocking etc. | | |

| Re: Tiling in to a corner with pic's | | its down to which way you like the finish,if you want to butt one tile next to the other then id leave a small gap for movement....if you did it the secondcway then you need to make sure you dont leave to big a gap when cutting in...personal choice imo. | | |
