bathroom price check

Any help coming up with a quote for this job would be great..

10 square metres in a bathroom - 4 walls halfway up all the way around with 3" x 6" small tiles laid brickbond style with a dado border tile all along the top - so need to mitre 2 of those per corner.

Also 5 square metres of mosaics inside walk in shower, which has a small alcove 19" high and 7" deep.

So a total of 16 square metres.

Somewhere aorund the £500 mark sound about right?

Sounds a good price to me, i would be happy with that. Not bad money for a days work

I'd be charging around £300 tiling plus mats if walls were in good nick.

You would really struggle to do that in one day mate. They are pretty small tiles.

If you cannot do that in a day, some people may be able to do, so I wouldn't knock them for saying so.
Depends on how long people class a days work too.

Some on here have said as little as 5 hours is a days work, where others have said 10 or more.

Not saying it can't be done fekin mate, just that i couldn't do it. My first ever job was 6 x 3 inch brickbond, took me a while but the customer keeps coming back!
