Default Tiling on Weyroc Flooring

Hi. I was hoping the experts might clarify something for me. I am having a new extension built and the upper floor is being contructed using 18mm or 22mm Weyroc. My question is basically do I need anything else on top of this floor in order to tile? Given the fact that the floor is a minimum 18mm and new will it be enough

I was originally thinking 12-18mm ply (from numerous posts here) but I now get the feeling this is suggested in place of the flooring. My builder has said 6mm ply will sufficient but I am reluctant to believe him but he says there will be too much of a rise in floor level between rooms if using anything greater (assuming for example 12mm tile+adhesive+18mm ply. I feel 6mm will not give the correct strength to the floor if the Weyroc is not enough and may even have problem at a later stage (for example with screws pulling threw).

The tiles I have are 1.2cm thick so am reluctant to use too thick ply. I was maybe looking at Nomoreply @ 6mm with suitable flexible adhesive (BAL FastFlex maybe?) The thing I am most worried about is the quite expensive tiles being cracked. Any help is appreciated.
Regards,
Corey

6mm no more ply is strong enough but i always use 9mm no more ply.make sure you use the adhesive and screws correctly and you wont have a problem. i used it on a floor that was creaking last week and it has stopped it.

What do you think about replacing the 18/22mm Weyroc with 25mm ply and tiling straight onto it using BAL Fastflex and suitable grout? I guess this would eliminate the need for overboarding but still give the floor the right strength and save money with not having to buy the hardi boards or NMP?
