| Re: Female Tilers | | Hi CLMC123,
Love your potential business name. Goes well with your own name.
I was a computer programmer for more years than I care to remember, until the big businesses came up with the great idea of outsourcing the work to places like India, Spain and other countries I can't even spell. By the time they realised that, though it seemed a good solution and would save some money, in actual fact everything got done shoddily took forever and cost a mint. Then they decided they'd bring everything back in-house. Of course by then all the trained and experienced programmers had all become plumbers and the UK declared a shortage of experienced IT staff. Duh!
I didn't fancy staring down other people's loo's for the rest of my life, so I moved into Admin. S'ok, but no great challenge, so I'm hoping to change that with a new tiling career. I'm still at the stage of balancing time from work to organise a training course. I've press-ganged a couple of friends to let me do some small bits of tiling for them, but I'd rather get some decent training first.
I don't have a business yet. My name is Karen and K2 are my intials (KK). Just too lazy to spelll out my name.
Speak to you soon,
