Default grouting help

hi all just a bit of info off the masters. The job ive got is that the bottom three tiles 300x600 the grout has cracked and has leaked water through the plaster at the edge of shower cubicle ive tested the tiles seem to be quite solid. should i just re-grout and silicone the tray again or take off botton 3 tiles and re-tile them. i can only see the plaster about 3inch out from shower screen has gone the rest of wall solid. many thanks lads

If it was me I think I would take as many tiles off as necessary to expose any affected plaster and make the wall good then retile.

I have to say that if water has got though, maybe it should be investigated further for other damage. Taking the tiles off will remove the plaster with it though!

Yes remove without a doubt. Plasterboard will almost certainly be us, your only be called back to put it right again ,when your new grouting fails(client will prob hold you responsible) if you cant salvage removed tiles, get a contrasing one and make a feature or the tiles up from the tray

A problem, is a new challenge
