Default cash

Been accepted to do a large job (insurance claim) and looking at around £800 for materials. Think it is ok to get the cash upfront for material costs as it is so high?

I'd never shell out that sort of money for materials,I would insist on the money up front

Went around this evening and she was fantastic. Told her that such a job that required so much expense paid on materials needed a deposit. "Not a problem, work it all out for materials cost and i will pay upfront for it all, cash or cheque?"

Not posted a pic of my work as yet but gonna post the end product when this granite floor is finished.

I'm a shy boy

For that amount of materials I'd be asking for full materials price as deposit too.
