Default Tiling on to Tiles

Hi,

In need of some advice, i am tiling on to 6x6 tiles with 4x4 do i need to score and clean with sugar soap the old tiles and tile on top? Any advice would be grateful.

SONTEX ACRYLIC ADHESIVE mate done it countless times mate,espcially made for tiling on tile

Agree with reaper, i fixed 4 by 4 tiles onto 6 by 6 tiles last week, used sontex acrylic, scrubbed tiles with white vinegar first to de-grease. no probs

evening gents, got to do a similar job for some friends next week. do the tiles already up need sealing prior to tiling. ive also seen some advice about scoring the tiles with an angle grinder to provide a key, is this necessary?? thanks dave.
