kitchen kickboards and bath panels,etc

:mad2: what do you do when it comes to removing kickboards and they wont budge?went to do my own the other day and it wouldnt come off from behind so pulled it that hard that the corner snapped.thank god it my own but do you leave it to customer to remove instead of damaging out or what?also,when you remove a bath panel and tile,how do you cut it down to fit AND ANOTHER,ive just layed plywood in bathroom,then with tiles and addy its at least another 25mm step up,so hence the basin and toilet been heightened too.the plumber has managed to get a flexible attatchment(?!!) for basin and summit for toilet too,so luckily i had a good plumber who knew what he was doing.if i hadnt,what else could i of recommended to customer as the plywood needed to be down and to cut plywood around them instead of sitting on top wouldnt be neat but only other solution i can think of-SO,ANY BRAINIACS OR EXPERIENCED TILERS WHO'V COME ACROSS ALSORTS OF PROBLEMS, ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT!!..THANKYOU AND GOODNIGHT!!!!!!!

You could use Hardie (or other makes) backer boards, only 6mm for floors.

Toilets and basins I always carry some 15mm flexible pipes , you can then buy flexible waste outlets of need or most of the time especially modern builds they can be lifted as they go dwn rather than along and out if you get what i mean.

Kitchen kickboards I always get the customier to arrange to get them done, just cos its a pain cutting then down. Had one last week where the kitchen was huge and the kickboards were alost 3m long. Didnt fancy that with my little homebase jigsaw.

Bathpanels I usually do, cos most of then so far have had vertical adjustment left in them, once youve done one thay arent that bad. on the sides trim using a suitabel saw if wood or a good stanley knife if they are plastic

to remove a kick board, ensure all screws are taken out and if still difficult , use a sucker pad. most bath panels can be cut with a jigsaw. let the plumber worry about the sanitary ware.
