Re: advice please | | Get the paint scraper out and remove as much of the old addy as possible. Is it plaster wall? Curved or angled cooker hoods, what a pain, just cut 'em individually. Try and get in there early and whan quoting get the fitter to set the cooker hood off the wall 10-12 mm to allow a tile to slip under/behind it or see if it can be installed after tiling. Gives a better finish.
I tile floors, then kitchen goes in with cooker hood either missing or battoned off the wall. That was after having to cut round a curved glass hood... |
