Default Tiling up or down the wall with pic.

Hi.Guys around my bath [two walls] i wish to tile up to the picture rail and finish with a full tile diamond set,Can i tile down the wall or should I work out where my border will be and tile up.The rest of the bathroom will be brick set under the border.How should I start.Many thanks.

I think you should start with your brick bond set, work out where your boarder is going to be in relation to that and then do your diamond upwards from it. I wouldn't want to be doing a diamond set down the wall, gravity is a peculiar thing!

make sure you mesure your tiles allowfor your border tiles equals cuts at bottom and top and sides you also need vetical lines to work too .
