Default Tiling upper window recess

I am tiling round the inside of a window recess including the top, ie the tiles will be facing the floor as if on a ceiling. Any tips please on keeping them in place while the adhesive sets!

Using a good non slip adhesive will sort it out. Spread the area to be tiled and spread a little on the back of the tile. Push the tile onto the area to be tiled and "twist" the tile in to get a good fix.
If in doubt you could always cut a length of wood the width of the window and prop the tiles up but i doubt you will need it if using a god adhesive.

hello and welcome to the forum as SiRamic said use a non slip adhesive. What i somtimes do is put a pvc trim on after the tile across the rear of the tiles as u look at them to finish it off looks good if u want to impress customer with ur eye for detail good luck

Hi Mike, welcome to the forums. Any decent adhesive will hold up a tile in a window recess top. If you decide to use a support of some sort, be careful you don't knock your tile out of line by mistake. A slight sideways pressure can move it without you knowing and when you discover it late your addy has set and you then have to re-do the tile.
