Default help!!how much to lay slate floor tiles to 570sqm??!!

hi guys,been asked to quote to lay slate floor tiles in a night club,unsure what price to give.
1.slate tiles 600x600
2.floor is nice and flat latex
3.area 570msq-its basically a big hall,very little to cut around.
4.supply ady, grout and sealant.
do i charge £20-£25/m +mats or
charge day rate +mats or
charge £8000-£9000 +mats ???
with such a big area i could lay 15-20m/day with a labourer,maybe more.
Only been tiling since november(done 8wk course with master tiling school),so all advice appreciated many thanks pete

I reckom u should charge £30 per square m including materials.

Where is the job ?also what does CTD stand for?

if this is a normal commercial job then your biggert problem will be time ,at 20 per day it will take over a month and no comm'job ive ever been on would give you that much time!! 570 m2- 2 weeks

base it on m2 in my opinion matey. £25-30 should be about right as its such a big area you could afford to drop a little maybe, make sure you get it.

Nice job, where you based? As Alex1963 said you'll struggle with that time frame i reckon so you'll need some help!

Slate floor in a night club, that sounds a nightmare, make sure you specify your price is to lay calibrated slate. If its not calibrated you will be ages sorting it out. Also explain as its a natural stone it will be a job keeping it clean in those condition. And what about expansion joints, have you got to fix any of these.

£30 per m2 = £17100 plus the cost of materials, but as has been mentioned before they will probably want it done quicker, so you will probably need help.

Find out if it is calibrated slate or not.

Let us know where it is and you may get some help.
