| help please, tiling floating chipboard | | i need to tile a chipboard floor (floating) there is movement at the joints. 3/5 mm in places. can i use a 2 part flexi on this? will i need to ply the floor? cust is worried about a step into the other room. cheers Ben  | | |

| Re: help please, tiling floating chipboard | | Hi mate, I guess if you do choose to tile the floor how about "no more ply " Its only 6mm thick but has the strength of 18 mm ply so floor height issue not as bad Fully water proof. just glue and screw. Pricing, I used it for a 10 sqm floor it cost £170 with glue , screws, ply. could be worth a shout. Also there is a bagged addy specialy made for floating floors at £48 a bag. Whats it like dont know never used it. | | |
