Hi i am retiling a shower which has had mould problems in the past, do building regs mean i have to tank shower area first before i retile? Thanks. | ||||||||||

It is not part of the building regs to tank shower areas.....it should be but its not.... It's not always necessary to tank domestic showers( power showers yes).... But it would be advisable to recommend it if you can.... | ||
