| Re: CornerTape - The perfect template for silicone joints I am in Solihull in the West Midlands. Can you let me know when you will be around this area. Even though I don't fix anymore we sometimes get occasions to use silicone on vanity units etc. If its that good I want to see it please.

Kev | Hi Kev,
You won't be disapointed,
We'll be shiping out the first lot of stock to Kings Norton CTD on weds it should then filter through to each shop in the region (central sw). As soon as its in place we will be holding demo/training mornings at all CTD's around your area. Which one is closest to you? Keep coming back to the forum because I will post all dates about the demo's on here.
Best regards

| Re: CornerTape - The perfect template for silicone joints This is my bathroom installer work!
I used ivory silicone on natural porcelain tiles plus ivory grout.
A bit wonky especially where the tiles are not lined up exact.
And this is my effort round a bathroom cabinet. I went a bit mad and siliconed half the bathroom!
Everything got a bead of the ivory including the basin, loo, bath, shower, cabinets and window seals.... I think I over did it.
Results not perfect but I kind of just accepted the finish (mainly because it was me that did it and I am very self forgiving about my own work !! )
My worst experience seemed to be finger cuts after catching sharp tile edges as I ran my finger. A trail of ivory and red until I selected a new digit !

I would be very tempted to pay you a visit and 'redo' the work and then, post the results on this thread, what you say.

| Re: CornerTape - The perfect template for silicone joints You will face a lot of hassle digging the old stuff out (when I say I put it everywhere I really do mean EVERYWHERE)
But if you want a challenge and some pictorials then be my guest....
Hoddesdon Herts EN119DF.
The main problem you might come up against is the big gaps between the tiles etc. Nothing is perfect. But anyway I wont rattle on I will let you inspect and do your thing.
Feel free to book some time between now and July. R | |

Kev | Hi Kev,
If you an account at CTD or Tilebase they will be able to offer discounts to trade, it depends on your agreement with them.
The SRP is £17 + vat for the 25m rolls in any width, again this is the suggested retail price, if you know what I mean.
Best regards

| Re: CornerTape - The perfect template for silicone joints Thanks. I have accounts with shops and retailers who can provide the products I use for floor restoration. Unfortunately CTD are not one of them but I will contact them.

Kev | They're going national mate. Well worth looking into. They used to supply topps with tiles amongst other big names, though I'm not too sure if they do now. | Dan Quote:
