Default do you use sealer

on tiles before grouting ? i havnt been doing so but tiler i know told me he does and has put the doubt in my mind , sorry but im a perfectionist !

It would depend on the tiles being fixed. Glazed ceramics don't need sealer applying.

ive a bathroom floor , travertine and a kitchen floor , ceramics.

The travertine floor tiles will need sealing, once before grouting and once after grouting, you can get a good sealer from Topps.

The ceramic floor will not need sealing

As grumpy said, nothing glazed needs sealing, meaning really polished porcelain and other natural stone tiles "unglazed" needs a sealer.

always check all your tiles 1st as some polished porcelain could need it!

Should say on the box or if in doubt call the shop where tiles are from!
