Default just finished 2nd job

good evening fellow tilers. just finished 2nd job . boarding out an upstairs bathroom. then tiling (floor) about 3 1/2 meters. took about 14 hours. that was all of yesterday and 4 hours today. knees are in bulk. tried using knee pads but just found they transferred the pain to the back of the legs. aching all over. 1st job on floors. another notch on my learning curve though. and if faced with the same can approach with confidence. made a few mistakes around awdward shaped corners. what is the best way to get the right cuts around corners? for example... where pipes have been boxed in. many thanks ian

Well done m8. You should look at the trousers on http://www.buybrandtools.com/acatalog/workwear.html . The Panoply ones, you can buy the knee inserts for them. I've got a couple off pairs and think there great.

Hi bud........if you find wearing kneepads uncomfortable, maybe give the worktrousers with the slot in foam knee pads a try...........should do the trick

I too have problems using knee pads. Just fold up a dustsheet to kneel on is what I do. Saves messing about with knee pads!!
