It is something which can be charged well for and also very good profit in supply......Gaz

Its not common in Norn Iron and on the odd occasion that i do come across it a spark has usually been lined up to put it down.
In that case i insist it is tested with me and the client there before i start work so they cant come back to me and say i damaged it if it was a duff installation. I use a self levelling compound on it before i tile, as much to protect the wires/mats from my big feet and make sure there is no air pockets and heat is distributed properly.

It is here to stay, and if you don,t install it someone else will and make the money for doing so. I never connected them to the unit, I just wired them to a plug top with 5 amp fuse to make sure it worked before tiling, always made sure customer whitnessed this........come on guys...lets not just think tiling....lets think money for doing what customer wants..surely we can all wire a plug ?.......GAZ

Just buy your self a multimeter...you can test the UFH before installation and after....this is advised by most UFH suppliers....You can also test the thermostat probe.... then get a sparky to do the connection to the supply after allowing the correct setting time of the installation...( adhesive etc ).... always read the instructions first....fully understand before commencing tiling......

It's easy peasy - checkout THIS installation guide. You get 10% extra off their prices if you register a trade account with them too.
