Smile Plastering course to help with tiling

Am thinking of doing a short plastering course so that i can use it with my tiling. as most walls ive come acriss need some sort of plaster and dot and dab from time to time i was thinking it might be benefical to do a course like this.

What do you think

Has anyone got plastering skills that you use for your tiling

Has anyone done a plastering course, are they worth it ??????????

This will be a good move for you tysfoot mate....if you can prep your own rooms etc then its money in your pocket and not the plasterers.....

I can prep for my work so yes it's worth it.....

I would love to give it a go tysfoot as you say you'll always need to do some repairs or skimming along the way you might as well do it and get the money.

I say go for it.

if a room needs a complete replaster i can make an extra few hundred quid so ill definitley look into it. tiling is all about prep, ive worked on some right bumby walls and ive had to pack the tiles out a lot, dunt half slow you down. that extra skill will come in handy.

wouldnt mind doin a beginners plumbers course but its getting expensive i suppose. all i need to learn is the basics of undersyanding the workng and fittings of sinks baths and toilets.

Does anyone know of a course designed for this

You'll have to change to "newlook master builder" at this rate.

Don't know how basic you want to be have a look at this.
