Default Tile trims and tile spacers

What size tile trim should I use with 6.5 mm thick tiles, And what would be the normal spacer size for tile spacing in a bathroom for 100x200 and 150x150 tiles.
Thank you.

You will probably have a few mm of adhesive so around 7-8 mm trim. Take a tile with you to the suppliers and see what they recommend, and what fits.

I would always try and tile walls with 2mm spacing and floors with 5 mm if the tiles are regular size. Its personal opinion though.

Walls 2-3mm spacers. Floor 4-5mm spacers. Depends on tiles though. If doing floor with a sheer edge to tile (eg. marble, porcelain etc) then would use 2mm on floor also. Most trims come in either 6mm, 9mm or 12mm so best to match the trim to the tile. If tiles are 6.5mm wouldnt recommend 6mm trim as it will lok daft. Go to next size up (9mm) as when adhesive behind 6.5mm tile it will be more like 8.5mm thick so 9mm trim would look better

you might find 7mm trim a little thin, you have to take in to account the bed thickness of your adhesive it should be or recommended by weber 6mm in dry areas and 8 mm in wet areas but when tiling around windows which are hardly ever plumb or level you find yourself packing out a little so i would recommend 8 -9mm mate. If your using tile over trim which covers the cut edge you may find 7mm way to small.
