Question help need with plaster drying times.

hello, been trying to look up the answer but cant find anything on the forums. customer just had a full room plastered at the weekend and im booked in to tile it on thursday morning, will be ok to tile onto by then? and will i have to prime it, im 99% sure i am like. cheers.

It is my understanding that for each 1mm of plaster thickness you need 24hrs drying time. I.e. 20mm plaster 20 days drying time.

It would be best to prime it with an APD type primer.

The plasterers on here will probably give more in depth details.

i believe the drying time is 28 days but it depends on a number of factors IE on plaster board wouldn't take as long try this link should explain :Pete
