Also what is there trade stuff like. whats the cheapest bucket adhesives they do for trade.

You will need 2 trade referances to open up a credit account but you can apply for a cash trade account like topps do..the more you use them the better the discount gets....

There cheapest bucket ( dispersion ) adhesive they do is sontex..£5.00

The cheapest rapid-set they do is sontex rs2....about £7.00 for 20kg...

and the list goes on.....

All tile shops will give good discounts if you use them regulary enough....

tysfoot, guaranteed you wont get the same prices as DH m8 as he gets the top end discount,i went in to the big brand new store in Glasgow last week and got a cash account and 20% discount and the more you use them the more discount you get.

As for the BASF sontex excellent stuff,i use it every day m8 and take it from me its not s h i t e,good grip and easy to spread,i pay 7.99 plus vat for it but i stick to the one supplier as they helped me out when i started and i know them all anyway so whatever works for you m8 then stand buy it,just remember that cheap is not always the best route to go,its what works for you.Nothing ventured nothing gained so give the sontex a go and let us know how you get on bud. Bri

tysfoot, sontex acrylic is tub gear m8.Ionly gave them my business card and filled out a form and i got my trade cash account, not used it yet, make sure you find out all your prices tomorrow and write them down,i think you will find it more expensive than what you are paying now. They sell a lot of Bal products aswell m8,which can be handy at times when looking for a specialist product if you have a job that you are unsure of.
