We are planning to install a walk in shower 1700 x 750 along the back wall, so the same area needs to be tiled, tiles most likely to be used are 600 x 300 Slate from Tile Giant, I would need to replaster board and then use Hardiback Board 500 for the area to take the weight of slate? Best Flexi to use? what size trowel would be required? the rest of the walls are to be plastered and painted.
Flooring, same Slate but possibly 300 x 300 (from Tile Giant again), the floor is approx 22mm think tounge and groove chipboarding (of which some will have to be replaced due to previous tiler going down directly to it) once replaced cover with Hardiback 250? Best Flexi to use (same as wall use??) what size trowel would be required?
Also a recommendation on the Grout (Grey) would be appreciated..
We already have Litholen Stain Stop for the protection of slate.
Hope everything is clear...
Thanks in advance....!!
Neil
