Looks canny from the pics.... there seems to be a badly lipped tile on the bath panel though...?

Just one little thing...on the bath panel a tile corner protudes slightly which stands out but overall looks good mate..
"Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes"

Very neat and tidy, was it you who cut the architrave that short!

looks alrite, one tile seems to be lipping a bit on the bath pannel in picture 3, or it could just be the way the lights shinning on it..
but overall looks a nice tidy job..![]()

Looking pretty good.
How picky do you want me to be?
Yoe can rotate the pics before you submit them- use Paint.

I was going to mention the way you cut the tile for the thermostatic shower control.

Looks good for a beginner or competent DIY'er. There are plenty of worse efforts in the hall of shame..... http://www.tilersforums.co.uk/tilers...all-shame.html
If I'm critical I would make the following observations-
1. Lippage on bath panel (already mentioned by others)
2. I would have dropped the tile layout (horizontal) so a full tile did not start off of the bath. This would have also avoided the grout line immediately behind the basin, and evened-up the window better
3. Paid a few quid for a diamond core bit for the 15mm shower mixer feed pipe.
4. I would have made the corner joints smaller (only by 1-2mm). It also looks as if these are grouted and not siliconed (ignore me if not)
Good effort though![]()

Nasty cut around the architrave, lipped tile on the bath panel and a couple of small cuts on the floor. Thats being picky. Is this a room in your house or a paid job?

Well, you did ask!

looks nice but there's a badly cut tile under the r/h side architrave and i would have done the internal corners in a similar colour silicon to the grout. maybe jasmine. not slating the job , just constructive critisism![]()

As above but would add when wrapping around on the half bond it can look better if you have the smaller cut following the big cut and big cut following small cut rather than big/big and small/small.
Top effort though!

You do realise how picky these nutters are?
Normal people probably wouldn't notice.
wow quick response. Its on a house renovation of mine. Yea the tile on the bath panel did slip out a tad. Wish i would of removed now. Iv since purchased the 365 bathroom kit so no more dodgy cuts around the shower feeds. My Chippy cut the architrave but agree the cut could of been better. Also agree with the small cut on the flooring. Should of moved the center line. Learning all the time.
Thanks again.

Yes a good job done, no matter how good a job is the trained eye will always dart to the imperfections.
Regarding the bar mixer postion, I always think it looks better central to the riser rail, anyone else think this? You'll need to turn laptop on its side to veiw pic though!

Hi Danmasey, doesn't look too bad, not sure if the towel is strategically placed to try and cover the grouted slots for rad pipes.
It's little things like these that make an average job a good job. The core bit will sort this out for you.![]()
The results of quality work last longer than the shock of the price
Hi Bob,
Shower heads can be directed. Sometimes it looks 'right' if the riser rail is off centre, also depends on the supply.
I don't like drilling into pipes!
As a plumber primarily I would of definitely centred the mixer and offset the riser but heyprobably would of shifted my tiling on the floor to avoid the small cuts too.

Over all not bad mate
Keep up the good work you can only get better
everything has been said about the workmanship, all I can add is my neck feels as if it has had a work out. keep up the good work.
It does look very good. The owners will be happy. Just one thing I always try to do:
I always try and start off with as much of a full tile (on the floor) when you walk into a room.
Well done.

good effort!!! all the above comments are great advice!! it always hard to really see in pics and not first hand but i maybe if it was me i would have centred the window so to have even cuts around it and it would have got rid of the slither on the floor next to the bath panel. Also were the wall tiles the same size as the floor tiles in width? cause i always try match hte lines up on the floor and the wall in at least one direction when poss..but, like i said its hard to tell in pics.
Keep it though were tiling geeks!
